Custom Malas:

I am closed to custom orders. I am happy to offer a referral upon request. 

Sales Tax:

This is a full service website. There will be a sales tax charged to USA customers according to the rates and laws in place with your state. Sales taxes are not given to me, they are collected by the website provider and remitted to your state. If the additional cost of sales tax is an issue, use the contact option to reach me and I will discuss PayPal payment with you. 

Split Payment:

I offer split payment as follows: 

Items must be over $400. Anything $400 up to $800 will be 50% down and 50% due in a month. Anything $800 or more will be 50% down, 25% in a month, and the remaining 25% due the following month. Split payment is rendered through PayPal. If you fail to pay in a timely manner I will retain $50 of your deposit and refund the remainder of what you have paid. 

Discounts:

My customers and repeat customers are valued and important to me. My pricing in this store displays the lowest available pricing to you. 

I am happy to offer a discount for multiple items (3+) purchased in a single order. Please message me before your purchase. 

If you are interested in something in my Etsy shop, send me a message here and I will confirm if I can offer you a reduced rate through my store. If you made your purchase through Etsy, I cannot offer a discount or a refund through this store. You must contact me here first in order to receive a lower rate on the item in my Etsy shop and purchase through me directly. 

Shipping Policies: 

Please insure expensive items. Please be sure to have your items delivered to a secure location and that your address is correct. Your items will be shipped to the address provided. The Mala The Mission cannot be held responsible for items that are stolen from an unsecure location or losses incurred due to being provided an incorrect mailing address. 

I provide First Class shipping through the USPS at no cost to USA customers, and minimal cost to international customers. First Class shipping will include a tracking number. First Class shipping does not come with insurance. The Mala The Mission cannot be held liable for items that are not insured. 

If you decide to upgrade to Priority Shipping, Priority Shipping comes with $50 insurance in the USA. 

USA CUSTOMERS: If you need more insurance, please choose an upgrade for insured shipping in the dropdown menu. If your items are insured and cannot be located due to them being lost in the mail, you will be refunded the amount your item was insured for. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: There have been changes in regards to insured shipping with several countries. If you require your international package to be insured, please send me a message using the contact button and I will help you navigate how to insure your package. Many international countries no longer receive insurance with the USPS. International customers please note that my shipping costs do not include any customs duties, import fees/taxes/surcharges levied by your home country or any transit countries or the delivering carrier.

Returns:

Please read the descriptions of the items provided and ask questions if you have them. I will do my best to respond in a timely manner. I put a lot of care into the workmanship of the available items and much care into your purchase; setting intentions for your piece, packaging, donations to animal charities, and I often pay for part or all of your shipping costs. 

Returns are accepted if the workmanship proves to be defective or if the item you purchased is not as described. Refunds for return shipping will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Returns will be accepted up to one month after receiving the item(s) you have purchased. 

If you decide to return an item that is not defective, you will be charged for the costs incurred by The Mala The Mission including packaging, the cost for restringing the item, PayPal fees, and you will be responsible for shipping/return shipping fees. You will be provided an itemized list of these fees and proof of these fees when a refund is requested. I have strict practices in regards to cleanliness and intentions when creating a mala. If it is opened from it's original packaging it will require a full restring. 

If you return an item in its original, unopened packaging, you will be provided a full refund excluding shipping and PayPal fees that have been incurred by The Mala The Mission. You will be required to pay for return shipping. 

Limited Lifetime Warranty: 

The Mala The Mission warrantees its products against defects in materials and workmanship for the practical lifetime of the product. The Mala The Mission's warranty does not cover damages caused by accident, neglect, or the breakdown of materials over time or improper care. 

Additional Policies:

Please be advised of chocking hazards when wearing malas. Malas are not meant for young and small children. 

Malas and gemstone are not a substitution for for medical advice. Please see a doctor for medical purposes.
